Recovery Friendly Workplace - Workforce Development and Adult Learning

The purpose of Maryland’s Recovery Friendly Workplace program is to assist businesses with supporting their employees and broader community through the experience of addiction by offering guidance and connections to behavioral health resources at no cost. The program also serves as a connection point for jobseekers in recovery who want to apply their background and skills in workplaces that view recovery as a strength. The program currently operates in several high-need areas of the state including Harford, Cecil, St. Mary’s, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett Counties and Baltimore City.
The Recovery Friendly Workplace program is funded through the Maryland Department of Health’s State Opioid Response Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
