Transaction Reports - Maryland Licensing of Secondhand Precious Metal Objects Dealers & Pawnbrokers
 

Each dealer shall make a written record of each business transaction that involves the acquisition of a secondhand precious metal object at the time the transaction is made. Each pawnbroker shall make a written record of each business transaction that involves the lending of money or pledge of personal property. Each pawnbroker shall make a written record of each business transaction that involves the buying of the following items:
 
  • Binoculars
  • Cameras
  • Firearms
  • Household appliances
  • Musical instruments
  • Furs
  • Stereo equipment
  • Office machines
  • Radios, televisions
  • Videodisc machines
  • Video recorders
  • Office equipment
  • Personal computers
  • Tapes
  • Disc recorders
  • Watches
  • Bicycles
  • Tangible property pledged as collateral
