Name/Address Change - Maryland Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects

Each licensee or firm is responsible for promptly notifying the Board of any address
changes. Failure to do so may result in not receiving license renewal notices and/or late renewal fee
charges. $100 late fee will be charged when an individual's license is not renewed by the expiration date.

NAME CHANGES
- Individual Licensees: must submit copies of the appropriate documents (court order, marriage
license) to the Board. Please contact the Board office at 410-230-6256, or by
email at landscape@dllr.state.md.us.
- Firms: may change the firm name without applying for a new permit if the Federal Employee
Identification Number remains the same and the firm has not become a new entity. Send a letter to the
Board with the new name and a copy of the Certificate of Good Standing from the
Department of
Assessments and Taxation showing the new name. You will receive a license with the new name in
approximately 4 weeks.
There is NO fee for address/individual's name changes.
