DLLR's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing

Certified Interior Designers in Maryland may obtain a verification of Current Certification from our Board to be sent to another state by:

1. Submitting a verification form from another state. To contact other states' CID Boards, go to the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) website. 
2. Mail the verification form to the Board at:
    
    Board of Certified Interior Designers
    500 N. Calvert Street, Room 308
    Baltimore, Maryland 21202-3651

The Board will complete the form based on our records and forward it to the State indicated within 20 days of receipt of the form. It is helpful to provide an addressed envelope in which to forward the completed verification.

There is no fee for certification verification by the Maryland Board.
