We are very pleased to announce the availability of OSHA’s updated Construction eTool in
Spanish, eTool de Construcción – La
Prevención De Fatalidades, which is designed to assist Hispanic employers and Spanish-speaking
workers in the construction industry. The updated eTool, posted February 20, 2006, uses safety and health terms
from the Agency’s English-Spanish and Spanish-English construction dictionary. Many thanks go to José Carpena and
Madelline Medina and the others on the Hispanic Translation Workgroup who spearheaded this effort.
The eTool is featured on the Agency’s
Hispanic Employers and Workers Compliance Assistance Web page. A link to the
press release announcing the updated eTool is on the OSHA home page.
Please contact Lee Anne Jillings
should you have any questions about the Construction eTool in Spanish.
