Effective May 11, 2009 the Commissioner of Financial Regulation
uses the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) to
manage Mortgage Loan Originator licensees and applicants.
Applicants and licensees are expected to be knowledgeable
about and in compliance with the Mortgage Loan Originator
Law, and any other applicable state or federal statutes
and regulations.
