Through a combination of your strongest interests, abilities and values, the CAPS, COPS and COPES career assessment
will help you determine new occupations to pursue. This is a “timed” session, so participants must be on time to

Security Clearance 101
The Mid-Maryland Office of Workforce Development, in partnership with the Fort Meade
Alliance hosts an informational workshop to assist in learning more about security clearances. The Fort Meade Alliance
operates the Project SCOPE Speakers Bureau, which consists of current business and industry professionals
who have security clearances and can speak about the need for these clearances and the process of obtaining them.
Creating awareness of the steps to obtaining a security clearance will facilitate better success in
getting through the process.
