- All applicants for original home improvement licenses must
pass an examination with a minimum of 70% correct responses.
- Examinations are based on laws and regulations relating to
the operation of a home improvement business and the sale of home improvement work.
- An independent testing company has testing centers located
regionally throughout Maryland for home improvement examinations. For examination applications, call
1-800-733-9267 or go to PSI's website
- Upon successful completion of the examination, license applications will be sent to the applicant by
the testing company.
