Public Meetings
Regular business meetings of the Home Improvement Commission are held on the first Thursday of every even numbered month at 10:00 a.m. at 500 North Calvert Street, Baltimore, Maryland in the 2nd floor conference room. Meetings that are hearings only start at 10:00 a.m. and end about 1:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public. The Commission suggests that you check the Maryland Department of Labor calendar or contact us at 410-230-6309 to confirm date, location, and time. Commission meetings are no longer published in the Maryland Register.

Winter Weather Policy for Board and Commission Meetings - Effective 1/23/15
If Maryland State Government has liberal leave or is closed due to inclement weather, the commission meeting, licensing workshop, guarantee fund workshop and any hearings scheduled for that day are cancelled. The Commission Meeting will reconvene on the next regularly scheduled meeting date and hearings will be re-scheduled.
