With cooperation from constituents, we can help eradicate worker misclassification in Maryland so that all employers are playing on a level playing field and workers are afforded critical workplace protections such as unemployment benefits, workers' compensation, and other workplace protections.

If you have information relating to a particular work provider that you believe is in violation of the law, please contact the Worker Classification Protection Unit:
