#18-120 In the fifth race, at Timonium Fair on September 3, 2018, horse #7 “Royally Cool”, ridden by jockey,
Grant Whitacre was disqualified from first position and placed third. Soon after clearing the chute, #7
“Royally Cool” severely ducks in and into the paths of #4 ”Transom” and #3 ”Fearless Terp” forcing both riders to sharply check their horses to avoid clipping heels.
[Violation under COMAR 09.10.01.50, A (1) b, d & e , which states in pertinent parts: “A horse may not: (b) Cross or weave in front of another horse without sufficient clearance (d) Intimidate another horse, or (e) Impede another horse.]

Taylor Hole was disqualified from first position and placed second. Soon after leaving the gate,
#7 “Passcode” was angled in and continued coming in, forcing #2 “Follow the Dog” towards the
rail, squeezing #1 “Gimme Some Truth” back and then causing #2 “Follow the Dog” to check.
[Violation under COMAR 09.10.01.50, A (1) d & e, which states in pertinent parts: “A horse may not: (d) Intimidate another horse, or (e) Impede another horse.]

#18-123 Jockey, Taylor Hole, is suspended three (3) Maryland racing days, September 21, 22 & 23, 2018, for riding the horse “Passcode” in a careless manner in the second race at Laurel Park on September 14, 2018, thereby causing the disqualification of “Passcode” from first to second position.
