Barber licenses must be renewed every two years. The
Board automatically mails renewal information and Internet
instructions to licensees approximately 60 days prior to the
expiration date of the current license. If a licensee does not
receive the renewal information or needs a paper application, the
licensee must call (410) 230-6320 or write a request to 500 N.
Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD, 21202 or fax a request to (410)
333-6314 to request a renewal application or information no less
than 30 days prior to the expiration date.

Article Section
4-605, Annotated Code of Maryland provides that you must be
affiliated with a licensed salon or licensed barbershop to perform services.
