Registration of Appraisal Management Companies - Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and
Home Inspectors |

Effective July 1, 2011, Senate Bill 658 authorizes the Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers
and Home Inspectors to register appraisal management companies. The registration process has been
finalized and applications are available.
All appraisal management companies wishing to do business in Maryland must be registered by
October 1, 2012.
