The Office of the Secretary of the Department of Labor, Licensing
and Regulation investigates complaints from consumers concerning
service provided by Athlete Agents. Upon evidence of a willful
and deliberate violation of the Maryland Athlete Agents Act
and Regulations, the Secretary may reprimand, suspend, revoke
and or fine a licensee or permit holder. The Secretary,
however, does not have the authority to order monetary awards
to consumers.
