During the running of the fourth race on April 27, 2025, jockey Rodriguez hit his mount “Skylar’s Brother” 9 times which is in violation of the 6 strike rule. On May 2, 2025 a hearing was held to review the race. The Stewards issued the following penalty.

(1) Mr. Rodriguez is fined Two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollars.
(2) Mr. Rodriguez is suspended one (1) race day, May 11, 2025.

ACTION REGARDING THE 150TH RUNNING OF THE PREAKNESS STAKES:

After reviewing the films and speaking with the riders involved, we, the presiding Stewards of the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes, came to the unanimous decision not to take action against Flavien Prat, rider of 4th-place finished Goal Oriented or Umberto Rispoli, rider of 1st-place finisher Journalism.

In the fifth race at Laurel Park on May 24, 2025, horse #11 “Magic In The Park”, ridden by jockey Forest Boyce was disqualified from fifth position and placed eighth. Soon after turning into the stretch,#11”Magic In The Park” drifts inward, into the path of #2 “Shine On Moon” ridden by jockey Alex Crispin causing him to clip heels and stumble.

Mr. Sanchez-Salomon has a (30) day period of ineligibility starting May 24, 2025 and continuing through June 22, 2025, pursuant to ADMA Program Rule 3323.
An additional period of ineligibility of (30) days, beginning on June 23, 2025 and continuing through July 22, 2025, for the accumulation of 6 Penalty Points within a two-year period, pursuant to ADMC Program Rule 3328
A fine of $2,500 in accordance with ADMC Program Rule 3323.
Assignment of 3 Penalty Points.
Disqualification of the results of “Tik Tok Daddy” obtained in race 3 at Laurel Park on December 13, 2024, and forfeiture of all purses and other compensation to the Race Organizer pursuant to Program Rule 3321.
