In the matter of, Sergio Sanchez-Oyanedel, subject of Stewards Ruling #25-015, dated
March 7, 2025.
On April 5, 2025, Mr. Sanchez-Oyanedel appeared before the Stewards upon the request of HCP Coordinator Jessica Hammond, for consideration of reinstatement to good standing. The HCP coordinator provided an evaluation from Adult Personal & Career Counseling . In their evaluation they indicate that Mr. Sanchez-Oyanedel is presently drug free and not a detriment to the best interests of racing. They recommended that he be reinstated to good standing and permitted to return to work subject to the following stipulation:
That at the Stewards discretion he submits to drug testing by the HCP Coordinator, the Stewards, or their designated representative. [COMAR 09.10.03.05.]
In light of the above, the Stewards hereby order that Sergio Sanchez-Oyanedel be reinstated to good standing subject to the above-stated stipulation.

In the matter of, Arturo Martinez-Bahena, subject of Stewards Ruling #25-017, dated
March 7, 2025.
On April 5, 2025, Mr. Arturo Martinez-Bahena appeared before the Stewards upon the request of HCP Coordinator Jessica Hammond, for consideration of reinstatement to good standing. The HCP coordinator provided an evaluation from Bilingual Counseling Center. In their evaluation they indicate that Mr. Martinez-Bahena is presently drug free and not a detriment to the best interests of racing. They recommended that he be reinstated to good standing and permitted to return to work subject to the following stipulation:
That at the Stewards discretion he submits to drug testing by the HCP Coordinator, the Stewards, or their designated representative. [COMAR 09.10.03.05.]
In light of the above, the Stewards hereby order that Arturo Martinez-Bahena be reinstated to good standing subject to the above-stated stipulation.

On April 5, 2025, Mr. Geraldino appeared before the Stewards upon the request of HCP Coordinator Jessica Hammond, for consideration of reinstatement to good standing. The HCP coordinator stated that Mr. Geraldino has completed an Anger Management program with her as requested by the Stewards.
In light of the above, the Stewards hereby order that Onix Geraldino be reinstated to good standing.

In the matter of Stable employee Ignacio Aros-Morales: On April 4, 2025 Mr. Aros-
Morales was requested to deliver urine sample by the MRC Investigators. The specimen
he rendered tested positive for marijuana.
COMAR 09.10.03.05 A(1)(a)(i).
A hearing was held on April 5, 2025. Mr. Aros-Morales appeared in the absence of counsel and waived his right thereto. Based upon the testimony and evidence presented at the hearing, the Stewards found Ignacio Aros-Morales in violation of COMAR 09.10.03.05 Drug Prohibition-Humans.
Accordingly, the Stewards hereby order:
(1) That the license issued to Ignacio Aros-Morales be suspended until such time as he
has been professionally evaluated and deemed not a detriment to racing. [COMAR 09.10.03.05, F(1)].
(2) That while he is under suspension, Mr. Aros-Morales will not be allowed to work on
the backside.

has been professionally evaluated and deemed not a detriment to racing. [COMAR 09.10.03.05, F(1)].
(2) That while he is under suspension, Mr. Gomez-Ibaceta will not be allowed to work on

review the race. The Stewards issued the following penalty.

In the matter of the first race at Laurel Park on April 12, 2025, regarding the Official result.
On April 13, 2025 the Stewards notified trainer A Ferris Allen III of a crop violation by the jockey of his horse “Lord’s Lady” during the running of the first race on the April 12, 2025. The Stewards notified Mr. Allen that jockey Sara Del Fabbro struck her mount 10 times during the race, which is a HISA violation that calls for the disqualification of said horse. On April 18, 205, Mr. Allen had a hearing with the Stewards and reviewed the race in question. Mr. Allen has agreed to the penalty.
Based upon the foregoing, the Stewards hereby order that:
The horse, “Lord’s Lady” be disqualified from the first race on April 12, 2025. The Horsemen’s Bookkeeper redistribute all monies for that race in accordance with the following order.
