Maryland's Growth Industry Tool

The Growth Industry Tool, known as GIT for short, is a tool that can be used to analyze the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) data for Maryland. This tool can be used to examine employment, growth, employment concentration, and much more! GIT automatically opens on the statewide map view, and you can use the drop down box to specify a specific industry or to examine the total. On the table view, you can search for a particular industry using the search box and filter by employment concentration. For specific county and local area data, click on your area of choice below. With GIT, columns can be sorted to help you find the data more easily. Make sure to visit the detailed data tabs to get specific industry data, such as Air Transportation, for your area today!
