First-time Candidates
First
time applicants can apply online or download an application from the Online Forms
Page. The filing deadline for first-time applicants for the Principles and Practice of
Engineering examination is 120 days prior to the examination date.
See exam schedule. A one-time application of $50 is
required to apply.
The Maryland Board has engaged Professional Credential Services, Inc. (PCS) for scheduling,
examination administration, and score reporting. Once approved, you must schedule and pay the exam
fee to PCS by the deadline. The fee is $275.
You must register online with NCEES during their
open registration period. You must register with them each time you take an exam.
