New Law Effective October 1, 2016 - Professional Land Surveyors

House Bill 1457 Land Surveyors - Qualifications for License - Education, Experience, and Examination Requirements makes certain changes to educational, experience and education requirements that applicants must fulfill in order to qualify for a license as a professional land surveyor. One of the most important changes in the new law is the requirements for all applicants for licensure who apply after October 2016 to take and pass the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam. Below is a chart that was prepared in an effort to help applicants understand the new requirements. View the text of the bill.
