| Organizations can request approval as a peer review program by submitting a letter to
the Board of Public Accountancy including the following information:

A brief review of the history the organization’s peer review program. |

|
|
|
Identification of the standards under which peer reviews are performed and administered.
Maryland law requires that peer reviews must be conducted under standards no less stringent than the
AICPA Standards
for Performing and Reporting on Peer Review.

|
|
A copy of the plan of administration for the peer review program.
|
| |
|
|
|
A copy of the approval letter, approving the plan of administration, issued by the
independent oversight entity.
|
| |
|
|
|
If applicable, a copy of the most recent oversight report for the peer review program.
|
